January 26, 2009
Dear praying family and
friends,
“O taste and see that the
LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in
him.” Psalm 34:8
2008 was a tremendous year
for us in our evangelistic ministry. God
demonstrated Himself by giving us the most weeks of meetings for the year, thus
far, with 32. We saw over 150 salvation
decisions and scores of others were made in our services.
Some of the instances in
which we were able to taste and see God include these:
9/4-9/12
11/3-11/7
11/17-11/21
God has demonstrated Himself in
so many ways, from seeing folks get saved, to hearts getting right, to
supplying our needs, to reuniting us to old friends. These are just a few highlights that have
been impressed upon us last year.
We look forward to what God
is going to do in 2009. We have already
had a great start in Lehigh Acres, FL where I had to privilege of preaching a
spiritual emphasis week, preaching twice a day, and also running a basketball
camp in between preaching sessions. The
young people there were very sensitive, ready and responsive. I had preached and taught basketball there
before, and it was evident that there was a much better spirit this time. Many young people made some good decisions
and it was a very encouraging start to our fifth year of ministry.
Please pray that God would
continue to bless our ministry as we look forward to preaching God’s Word and
seeing Him work in hearts. We are in the
process of expanding our ministry in several ways and we will inform you how
those things are going as we get them underway.
Also, as you think of us, please keep us in your prayers in these areas:
Prayer Requests:
·
God’s power in
our ministry.
·
Souls to trust
Christ as their Savior
·
God to open more
doors for ministry and provide for us about 15 more weeks for 2009
·
God to fill our
schedule for 2010 and 2011
·
God’s protection
as we travel.
·
God to direct us
to a music team for the near future.
·
God to supply our
spiritual needs as well as our physical/financial needs.
Thank you all for your
continued prayers and support. May God
richly bless you all as you faithfully serve Him.
Tasting His Goodness,
David D. Cajiuat – Ps. 34:8
