David was born in
Baguio, Philippines on February 7, 1967. He grew up
in Oxnard, California and was raised a Southern
Baptist. He made many professions of faith but
never possessed The Faith. In August of 1986 David
enlisted in the United States Air Force and in
January 1987, was stationed in Camp Darby, Italy.
On March 17, 1990, David came to know Christ as his
personal Savior. He married Charlotte D. Samuelson
on December 29, 1990. He was honorably discharged
from the Air Force and enrolled in Ambassador
Baptist College in January of 1993. David has
served under Pastor Frank Camp as the Youth Director
for over six years and was on staff at ABC as the
Activities Director from 1995 to 2002. David
graduated from ABC in 1998 with a degree in Biblical
Studies with an emphasis on evangelism and completed
his Master’s degree in Theology in May of 2001.
David resigned as the Student Activities Director
from ABC in May of 2002 and launched into full time
evangelism. In August of 2003 David and his family
served as the staff evangelist for Camp Joy in
Whitewater, WI until August of 2004 when David and
his family moved to Huntsville, Alabama where he is
currently the staff evangelist at Calvary Baptist
Church under Dr. Greg McLaughlin.
Charlotte was born on
October 1, 1970 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was raised
the daughter of an Army Chief warrant officer and
was also steeped in Mormonism. In her senior year
of high school she moved with her family to Camp
Darby, Italy where she met and began to date David
Cajiuat. After a year she and David became engaged
but a year later they broke off their engagement
because David came to trust Christ as his Savior.
Seeking to convert David to Mormonism, Charlotte
began to study her Book of Mormon and her Bible.
After several months of discussions and debates with
David she began to search in the Bible for the truth
because she saw flaws in the Book of Mormon. In May
of 1990 she left the Mormon Church and after
marrying David she was introduced to Christ by him
on February 17, 1991. Charlotte spent over nine
years at Ambassador Baptist College helping and
supporting her husband at school and in the
ministry.
David and Charlotte have
three children:
Joshua David – 6/2/1992
Rebekah Hope – 12/27/1994
Caleb Bryant – 12/16/1996
